1) Annie Crummer. Who the hell cast this woman? She is a terrible actor, she cannot sing *and* she thinks she's funny. She was supposed to be an up-market, smart beautiful lawyer and one of the strongest singers of the cast. Instead we got some dickhead that cant hold a note and hunches over to sing.
2)Actor that plays Mark. I cant even be bothered to find out your name. You were terrible. You cannot sing, you look like you are twelve. Also because your voice lacked power you actually missed out on singing some of the important parts of the songs. For instance: you took a breath instead of singing "For being an us for once, Instead of a them" You sang "for once, instead of them".
3)Roger. You sir have a good singing voice and would be great for this role if you loosened up. Your performance was the same angst filled struts for the entire play. Seriously, youtube what your role should look like.
4)Angel + Collins. I liked you energy, you cheered me up. But Angel sweetie you need to learn to play the pickle tub. I can forgive you for that though. Your dancing in those heels was fantastic! Collins - your voice was great, strong, smooth - just the way it was supposed to be. You really connected with me at the emotional part.
5)Actress that played Maureen. Your hair was seriously distracting. It sounds stupid but it was. Also, you didn't get any of the audience to join in with your protest. That was the first time I have never heard the audience join in with the Mooing.
6)Actress that played Mimi. Your voice was good. You could've done with being skinnier - your role was to play a prostitute who is also a drug addict. I liked your energy and it seemed like you had researched the role and knew what was expected of it. Well done.
7)Gay waiter. I know not who you are but you were great. Prancing around like a fairy you made my night!
8)This was something that I picked up on all the way through was that the cast was just too early for some of their cues which through out the songs. For instance: When Mark goes to the life support meeting and he barges in once they have started and says 'Oh, Sorry excuse me oops' The actor playing Mark had already pushed his way through the group.
9) I just felt that some of the cast didn't know their roles well enough. It sometimes felt that they were just running through the motions. Almost like I was watching the rehearsal rather then the finished product. I'm seeing Rent again next week and I'm hoping that they just had one bad night. I doubt it though but here's to hope!
